When heads-up you can often narrow your opponent’s range in situations like this based on preflop play and previous reads, allowing you to assess whether just checking and/or calling with your. Preflop, the percentage form looks at how the selected hands compare to all possible starting hands. But postflop, we use percentages to describe how often the range that got to this street does something. This is how you can end up with higher percentages postflop than you had preflop. The following Texas Holdem odds table highlights some common probabilities that you may encounter in Hold'em. It is not vital that you learn these probabilities, but it is useful to be aware of the chances of certain situations arising.

To many, heads up is the purest form of poker. Playing heads up forces players to utilize many different skills in order to be successful. Some of the many skills include the ability to read hands, bluff (in correct situations), adjust constantly to your opponents playing styles, and value bet thin. Another important skill that heads up players must develop is hand selection. Below i will give you some preflop charts for when you are in the big blind and the button open-raises. We assume that the button min-raises the button. If he raises to more than two big blinds you should adjust your ranges (become tighter). Heads up Hyper Pre-flop Charts. Heads-up Hyper Turbo Tournaments (HU-HT) are fast-paced 1on1 poker.
How to use Texas Hold'em odds.
The odds in this Texas Hold'em odds table are unlikely to directly help your overall strategy, but they are pretty interesting nonetheless. The Texas Hold'em odds for each of the different situations have been given in both percentage and ratio odds, so use whichever format you feel comfortable with.
